Students will be trained on the concepts of standing the hammer and leads, capping, driving piling, battering piling, driving and extracting sheeting using a vibratory driver/extractor, and drilling with conventional as well as hydraulic drilling machines.
Prerequisite for the Course
Experience with friction cranes (for the piling and sheeting) and experience with hydraulic cranes (drilling with hydraulic machines).
Course Objective
Learn the basics of pile driving, sheeting (with vibratory driver/extractor), and drilling (caissons).
Equipment Required: Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes, work boots.
