Course Objective
40-Hour instruction focuses on welding safety, equipment set-up and operation, electrode selection, gas selection, and basic metallurgy when welding steel using both stick and wire feed methods. Repair welding with torch setup and operation, air arc operation, and plasma cutting are also emphasized.
Equipment Required: Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes, work boots.
